Dans de nombreux pays d’Afrique, le même parcours se répète : à la sortie d’une consultation, le patient repart avec une ordonnance papier — et sans aucun moyen de savoir quelle pharmacie a le médicament en stock. Le médecin ignore si le traitement a été délivré, et les autorités de santé n’ont pas de vue d’ensemble de l’approvisionnement. In many African countries, the same journey repeats itself: after a consultation, the patient leaves with a paper prescription — and no way of knowing which pharmacy has the medication in stock. The doctor does not know whether the treatment was dispensed, and health authorities have no overall view of supply.
